萨米·亚诺，Sami Jano is based in New York City where he has been creating music for short films, campaigns, and theme park rides for 15+ years. In 2018, he scored his first feature length film, Dads, directed by Bryce Dallas Howard. He has since gone on to score Ron Howard’s, We Feed People, Willow: Behind the Magic, indie thriller Sneakeater. Upcoming projects include Nat Geo series Beyond Belief with David Blaine, Disney series Harlem Ice, Pets by Bryce Dallas Howard, and Drago by Dan Zverreff, premiering at Sundance.Born in Detroit, as a first-generation Syrian-American, Sami played drums in various rock, punk, post-rock, and hardcore bands in his early days. Then played keys, and wrote instrumental music throughout his twenties. His transition to film was inevitable.Sami’s work can be wildly diverse. Playful one moment, moody and compelling the next. Sometimes at the same time. Every tool he's learned gets used... and every day is a school day.
